Vegas here we come.

We just got back from being in Las Vegas for a week. And can I say it was the perfect time to get away. It was so warm and sunny the whole time. Not this warm one day, snow the next! We stayed in our time share and this is probably our second favorite now, next to Cabo! It was so nice, and a lot to do at the resort. We kept busy by swimming everyday,(which we all got sun burned) hit several buffet's,(gained 20lbs) M&M factory, a little shopping, gambling,(lost next months house payment! jk) strip clubs-wait how did that get in here! J/K But mostly just relaxed and had fun being together! My parents joined us also and they even let us go out for an evening. Thanks!
Rio buffet, I remember it being much better!
The kids loved the M&M factory. I think they even taste better when they cost 20 bucks for like ten! The pools were so much fun! They had like four to choose from, we picked the heated ones.
Brendan loves pirates, so we had to show him the big pirate ship's at Treasure Island. There was so many pictures to choose from so i put a slide together to capture our great trip!

We're so glad when daddy comes home..

We were so excited to go get Ryan from the airport today. The kids made posters and cards to make his home coming a little better. Ryan has been in Brazil for the past nine days. He went with his brother and they both had the best time! They had both served their mission's there, so it was really neat for them to have another chance to go back and enjoy everything all over again.

We sure missed him!!! Mckaela was off track this week too, so we made all these plans to have fun while she would be home and to keep us busy while daddy was gone. But Mckaela got sick the night he left and was sick almost till the day he came back. She had a virus that was going around, with high fever, stomach ache and other symptoms. Her fever got up to 104.3! Which totally scared me, none of the kids had ever had a fever that high. We took her to the doctor's, which there was not much that could be done, and then my wonderful visiting teacher's husband gave her a blessing. She is 100% better now. I am so grateful to all those that helped me this past week, without you I don't know if I would have made it! So now Ryan is home and we are off to Las Vegas for a family get away for the next week. We all need some quality time together!

Special school day...

Brendan was so excited about school today. It was bring a visitor to school day, so he chose two special visitors to come and join him.
Grandma and Grandpa Parker!!!
They had reading time, tell about your visitor and earlier this week they made a volcano, so now they were able to show how it worked. Painted pictures and then had snack time. It was a busy morning. Thanks grandpa and grandma for going, Brendan had a really fun time showing you his day at school!
So I have to throw this in! Ryan has done this with all the kids and now it's Addy's turn and she just loves it! I don't but they do!!!
this face just kills me...don't you love the first time they start to taste baby food. She will pull a face but will still eat it.

So Addison has been very stubborn about rolling over, she has been rolling stomach to back, that's the easy one, but today she decided it would be the day. We all clapped and cheered and she got such a kick out of all the attention. This was a big day for her and now we can't wait to see what she will do at eight months!

Fun filled day!

We hope everyone had a fabulous Easter! We had a fun day filled with kids waking up bright and early with excitement to see what their baskets had been filled with. Many egg hunts, lots of candy and most important being at church to remember and think about our Savior.

The matching trio!!!

For you moms out there trying to find matching clothes for your little ones, It's was impossible!
I went to sooooo many stores trying to find something that would all go together. Sure for the girls they had cute dresses that would match but then nothing for the boys. I can't tell you how excited I was to find Brendan's purple tie! I decided I will come up with my own fashion line that give's you option's to have your children match on these fun holidays.

Sweet!

So now that spring break has started we have been trying to think of thing's to keep the kids busy, so a friend set up a tour at the sweet candy factory. There were like 36 of us. We have been there before with Mckaela's preschool but you can never get enough candy!(Brendan was at preschool having an Easter party that he did not want to miss plus he will be going there with his school next month.)
So you have to wear these things on your head, even Addison had to and she was so good, didn't even take it off once.

My two girls look so cute in their little hats.
After the tour you can go to the little store and blow all your money on candy, it was awesome! (So the kids would say)
So now we are finally done with our house, after many hours of painting, cleaning, and getting everything in order, watch us move in the next month J/K. We just finished Addsion room. My mom did a lot to help me and so did my sister-in-law Val. I wish I new how to sew but I don't so I leave it up to the pros.
She has been sleeping in there for the past few night and is doing so good! It was so hard to put her in her own room, this is my baby!

A box to the rescue.

Addison has been pretty sick this week. It started Monday night with a really high fever, so yesterday I took her to kids care and she was tested for RSV. and then took her back today and she has an ear infection on top of that. She has been such a trooper but just miserable with a smile! Ryan has been working a lot and then took off to California to get a car, so tonight I just had that moment of being overwhelmed and tired. So I put the kids to bed (i thought) and got myself ready for bed. Well I hear talking in Brendan's room and this is what I see...

It was pretty funny to see his little head sticking out from this box. He was just playing and in his own little world. Yes I have those moments of frustration or that I just want to scream. I was going to walk in his room and get mad that he was not going to bed but instead sat down and played with the box. Thanks buddy for sharing your box with your mom for the night!
