I got Tagged!

So I got tagged which this is all new to me, so here we go.

What is his name? Ryan Parker
How long have you been together? It will be eight blissful years in July.
How long did you date? From first date to wedding date…5 1/2 months.
Who eats more? Well he does but I can definitely hold my own.
Who said I love you first? We were up at a friend’s cabin talking one night and it just came out kind of at the same time.
Who is taller? He is thank goodness; I was not willing to give up my tall shoes. (6’1 vs. 5’4).
Who is smarter? He definitely is! When we were first dating to get him to come over I would ask him to help me with math. Truth is I really needed help!
Who does the laundry? ME!!! He has maybe done it on three different occasions. (each time we had a kid). Now that we are done I guess he will be too! I love you honey!
Who does the dishes? I am the one mostly home so I do but he does take a turn after I have cooked so maybe once a month(hehe)
Who sleeps on the right? I do.
Who pays the bills? I use to but he is the accountant so he took over, I think he just really wants to see how much I spend each month.
Who mows the lawn? He does, but I have done it several time too.
Who cooks dinner?cook? dinner? what’s that? I hate to cook but I try my best to make something so my family won’t starve.
Who drives when you are together? Him. I’m driving around with the kids all day so it’s nice to just be the passenger. That and he hates how I drive!
Who is more stubborn? Neither!
Who kissed who first? We both leaned in for our first kiss. I must say that I was never so nervous for a kiss, those butterflies were going crazy! What a kiss though!
Who asked out whom first? He did.
Who proposed? He did at the Oakland temple. We went to San Fran. With several friends for spring break, so he did it then.
Who wears the pants? Hmmm…to be safe I will say we both do. (don't most wive's)

I guess now I am suppose to tag someone else. So Amber, Meghan and Brianne if you read this your it!

Shared day.

I knew Ryan was a perfect fit into my family because he shares his birthday with my mom and sister. I love you honey and hope you have had a wonderful birthday. I think you were a little spoiled this year, but you only turn 30 once! Well I know their are a few that have been thirty for ten years or so. Ryan wanted to go to the olive Garden for dinner and his sister Christie offered to babysit. Thanks!

I took my mom and sister to lunch for their birthday. I just have to say that I love you both so much. I have one of the best sister's and of course the most amazing mother and I am so grateful to both of them!

Happy Birthday my lov.....

So Ryan is turning the big 30 tomorrow and I wanted to do something fun for him. He has been putting in some long hours and we just have not had a lot of time together. So I planned a surprise get away for the weekend to Sunny California. I picked him up Friday afternoon at work and we headed to the airport. He still had no idea what was going on! So we flew in to Burbank and then started our fun weekend in the nice hot sun! We went to Universal Studios, (saw the homes from desperate housewife's) drove around Hollywood and walk everywhere. Walk down the sidewalk with the stars, went to Lisa Rinna's Boutique "Belly Gray"(I love her). Saw Juno, if you have not seen it go see it today! It was a really nice break and he was very happy about his surprise! I love you honey and hope you have a great birthday.

Had a bad day..

So Last week Brendan was getting a really bad cold and now it has worked its way through all of us. Poor little Addy has it and she is so miserable but still so happy. How did we get so lucky with her. She can't breath at all, coughs like her chest is about to cave in and yet does it all with a smile.

A new year has come.....

It has been a while since my last post, so I thought I would change things up a bit!
Things are finally calming down around here. We just finished our basement, which I want to say THANK YOU to everyone that helped, mom, dad, and my father-in-law. It's nice to have a little extra room now. Now we can work on a new room for Mckaela and then Addison will finally have her own room too.
On Monday for FHE we decided to all get in are PJs and put on our new robes that we got for Christmas. We had a nice and cozy night. We are trying to do better about having FHE. That is one of our new years goals. It's hard when they are little but finally they are at a age were they like to hear the stories and act them out. Brendan really likes all the stories about fighting or weapons. BOYS! Mckaela was not feeling to good, that's explains the tears.

I had to throw in the one with Addison. Every time she gives you that great big smile it just make me smile.
