B starts kindergarten

I cant believe Brendan has started kindergarten, he's still my little boy and is just not big enough to be going to elementary school with all those big kids, like Mckaeal. But he has loved every min. of it so far and is making some new friends. These two girls are friends from the neighborhood and one since birth. (Darci and Brendan are a week apart.) I'm glad that he gets excited about school and asks me ten time every morning if its time to go because I know one day he will want to miss school or play sick just to not have to go. So until than I am very happy that he is enjoying it!!

Bear lake

So we decided we needed one more little vacation before the kids went back to school. So a friends of ours rented a boat with skies, tube and wake board and we headed down to Bear lake for the weekend. It was beautiful!! It has been years since Ry or I have been there and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. The water was a little cold but at least the sun was out the whole time. The kids had a ball just playing in the sand, riding the tube, even Brendan tried to ski...but than got scared. I got up on a wake board and so did Ryan, but my favorite thing was skiing. I grew up on a boat, just haven't had the chance to go for a while so it was so nice to get back on the water and hit the waves!! We also camped at this really nice camp site that had "SHOWERS" which was so nice after being all dirty from the lake. It was a fun little outing!!

2nd grade and the Zoo

Mckaela has started 2nd grade, WOW that went fast!! She was up at like six in the morning because she was so excited to go and of course to wear her new outfit. She just is so grown up and so smart for her own good that I know I will have to closely watch this girl!! I am so proud of her and really hope she enjoys what time she does have in this school, it might only be a month or two before we move.

Most of the kids in her class she has been with since preschool or kindergarten. I think she has made some life long friends here!! (Courtney & keyaira)

Well since Brendan doesn't start until tomorrow I have been trying to do some fun things with him and to keep us both busy. We took a trip to the zoo, with my sister and her kids and even grandpa came with us.

Got to have our picture taken with a Bald Eagle. Riding the train.
This was Addison first time and she was loving it..she just stared at all the animals and she know's few of them, like zebra, so she got excited when she saw them. It was a fun day.

So I have to add these...
Little Addison has just LOVED getting into things these days but mostly finding markers to draw beautiful pictures all over HER SELF!! Did I mention permanent markers. So far she has learned the color blue and red very well. Little trouble maker:)

Look at those big blue eyes!! How can you get made at that?

She thinks its sooooooo funny:)
The look of Oops!! What did I do wrong?

Nine years and counting....

So a little late posting this fun weekend but better late than never...
For our 9 year anniversary, yes I just said NINE YEARS, crazy!! We went to Vegas for the weekend (with out the kids:) Ryan had been working like three jobs the last few weeks so we really have not seen him much and he was actually working on our anniversary so we had to plan it a week late but we still had the best time just being able to hang out and enjoy some time together. We stayed at the Trump Tower which was amazing and beautiful. The bathroom mirror had a TV in it, so cool. There was a little kitchen too but we didn't put it to use, we were are on vacation!!

Spent most of our time at the pool, you were either in the pool or in the hotel, it was 114 degrees out side. But we just relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it.

What a hottie!! (i do mean him:) hahaha

So the first night we went to the stratosphere and went on a couple of the rides...this one takes you off the EGDE of the building and spins around, by the end I was pretty sick, but it was SOOO fun.

And than the last night we went and saw KA (Cirque du Soleil) at the MGM which was amazing!! So worth the money.

I still cant believe that we have married nine years. We have definitely been through a lot in that time, some bad, but mostly good times. We have done a lot in these nine years...of course having our three beautiful children, getting into our first home, Ryan finishing school and getting his master followed by many career changes. But in all we have really accomplished a lot and been there for each other through it all. I do love this man for all that he has done for our family and for me. So here is too nine years babe..on to the next nine:)

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!!
First off I can't believe that it is already July. Months are just flying by.
So for the holiday weekend Ryan decided to take Friday and Saturday OFF, YEAH!! We have not had him home much the last few weeks so it has been really fun having him around and doing lots of fun things together. Friday we worked out, grabbed lunch, and then went to the Riverton parade. Brendan's karate class was going to be in it so we went to show are support. He had a lot of fun being in the parade, but he said the best part was getting wet and getting candy. Of course!! Besides it being a very long night waiting for the parade to start and being in the heat we still managed to have fun and we brought along some friends to keep us company. So thanks for tagging along Fishers:)

On Saturday we went to breakfast at Ryan's sister's and then went swimming for a little bit at my moms. We were just packing it all in!! We had a BBQ at the Fishers later that night and then West Jordan was having a little carnival and fireworks so we worked our way over there and played. We have had a busy weekend but we had lots of fun celebrating with our family and friends.

My cute girls!!

Birthdays parties, Recitals, Father's Day and listing our house!1

Father's Day.

We had such a busy weekend with a birthday party, Mckaela's dance recital and even my brother was here from California visiting and then Fathers day. So I wanted to make sure that Fathers day was a fun day for Ryan and a day to relax. (which didn't get to much time to relax with all the running around from family to family)

Got up early, way early (6:30am) so i could shower and get myself ready before everyone else was awake, since we have 9 o'clock church, I wanted to be able to make breakfast in bed for Ryan. Then once the kids got up they were so excited to give daddy the things they had made at school for him. Which turned out so cute, a book from Mckaela and a Tie from Brendan. They worked hard on them and were so excited to finally have him open them, which he just loved!!

So this past year Mckaela has been taking hip hop and has had so much fun. She has been in dance for four years now but she really wanted to try hip hop and can I say this girl can move!! The one thing...I have not been happy at all with this dance studio...they have just been so unorganized, never knew what was going on, ect.. so we will not be going back there!! But I'm glad that she did have fun!!

So I'm getting her all ready for the recital and she wanted to wear mascara, she looked so grown up and her eye lashes were like two inch long, they looked fake. We are really going to be in trouble with this one:)
Some of her buddies!

Her biggest fan club:) Thanks for coming and supporting her!

My nieces had her 8th birthday party at Boondocks, which the kids had a blast!! I got to tag along and help keep track of fifteen little girls. By the end of the day we were all exhausted and ready for a nap! But we are glad Kaitlin had a good birthday.

Doing a little golfing...

The next Tiger Woods:) (He's even in the Sunday red)

They all got a little wet here.

Abby (niece) and Brendan also got to come and enjoy all the fun!!

And last but not least....

FOR SALE!!

It's official, we have listed the house and are ready to move.

We have talked about this for soooo long, and at one point we even just put up a sign "for sale by owner" which we didn't try very hard. But Ryans dad has his Realtors licences so we are listing through him and hope it won't be to long. We have not found are next house yet, but we are on the look out for that perfect house that we plan on living in until the kids are older and out of the house. We don't want to have to move again. We both love South Jordan so that is where are focus will be for now. We really have loved this house. Mckaela was six months old when we moved here, 7 years ago. We love are neighbors and the ward so these will be things that we will definitely miss, but we won't be to far away!

Primary's and short hair...

Never a dull moment around our house.
I was picking up Mckaela from dance when I get a call that I better come get Brendan (he was at a friends) because he will probably be needing some stitches. Of course I go into panic mode, call Ryan to come meet me at insta-care, my mom to come get the girls and I head to go get Brendan. I rush in side and find my poor little man in tears, blood down his face and a nice BIG cut on his forehead right above his right eye. So I grabbed him and off we went. He was running and tripped and slammed right into the corner of the kitchen table. It got him GOOD!! Surprised the table was still standing. Once in insta-care, which I have now asked for a punch card, they ask all the lame questions as my child sits and bleeds. Well the nurse comes out and takes a look at it and here eyes got all wide and she says...you better take him straight to Primary's. You will want a plastic surgeon to take care of that. So again we load up and head to Primary's. Luckily now Ryan is with me and my mom had the girls. And this whole time Brendan just sat back and was as calm as can be. He was awesome the whole time. So we get to Primary's along with 100 other people, by the time we finally got back to be seen, six and half hours later!!! They were able to put him to sleep and stitch up his little forehead with 16 stitches. Brendan has now experienced it all, from two broken bones, burnt hand, and now stitches but at least he comes out of it all ok and with a smile.

Here area a few pics from the fun evening...

So worn out:( from waiting for six hours!!!)
OUCH!!!the awesome team of doctors.

his famous smile, love this kid!!!

Well on a happier note...
Mckaela has been bugging me for sooooo long to get her hair cut and I have tried really hard to put it off for as long as possible. She has such long pretty hair that I was just not ready to chop it of...well I finally gave in. So last Saturday we went in and did just that...chopped it off. But because it was so long and she wanted it so short she was able to donate her hair to Locks of Love. She thought that was the coolest thing ever and was so proud to be helping out someone else. I must say though...she does look stinkin cute with short hair:)
