Primary's and short hair...

Never a dull moment around our house.
I was picking up Mckaela from dance when I get a call that I better come get Brendan (he was at a friends) because he will probably be needing some stitches. Of course I go into panic mode, call Ryan to come meet me at insta-care, my mom to come get the girls and I head to go get Brendan. I rush in side and find my poor little man in tears, blood down his face and a nice BIG cut on his forehead right above his right eye. So I grabbed him and off we went. He was running and tripped and slammed right into the corner of the kitchen table. It got him GOOD!! Surprised the table was still standing. Once in insta-care, which I have now asked for a punch card, they ask all the lame questions as my child sits and bleeds. Well the nurse comes out and takes a look at it and here eyes got all wide and she says...you better take him straight to Primary's. You will want a plastic surgeon to take care of that. So again we load up and head to Primary's. Luckily now Ryan is with me and my mom had the girls. And this whole time Brendan just sat back and was as calm as can be. He was awesome the whole time. So we get to Primary's along with 100 other people, by the time we finally got back to be seen, six and half hours later!!! They were able to put him to sleep and stitch up his little forehead with 16 stitches. Brendan has now experienced it all, from two broken bones, burnt hand, and now stitches but at least he comes out of it all ok and with a smile.

Here area a few pics from the fun evening...

So worn out:( from waiting for six hours!!!)
OUCH!!!the awesome team of doctors.

his famous smile, love this kid!!!

Well on a happier note...
Mckaela has been bugging me for sooooo long to get her hair cut and I have tried really hard to put it off for as long as possible. She has such long pretty hair that I was just not ready to chop it of...well I finally gave in. So last Saturday we went in and did just that...chopped it off. But because it was so long and she wanted it so short she was able to donate her hair to Locks of Love. She thought that was the coolest thing ever and was so proud to be helping out someone else. I must say though...she does look stinkin cute with short hair:)

Whoa, that's why I can't have boys, I don't handle blood very well. I hope he's feeling okay! So, on a different note, I have a bone to pick with you. You asked me when we were getting together on face book and after I said "What are you doing today?" you went offline and didn't respond. I can take a hint.

Oh poor Brendan or, by the sound of it, I should say poor mommy!!! It is so hard to see your child bleeding and in pain but that comes with boys. I'm scared to have another just in case it will be another boy. :) And Mckaela looks so adorable!

They heal so fast but we are left traumatized for months with the nightmares of them bleeding...LOL

You are such a great mom Jaime and I noticed Mckaela's cute hair in church. You and Ryan have the most adorable kids anyway!

Boys are insane. Absolutely insane. I have nothing to say other than our lives are going to be filled with InstaCare and ER visits because boys are crazy. And that's why we love them. And McKaela freaking looks like a rockstar. You can tell her I said that. Call me. I need a girls' night.
