Fun weekend!

Over the weekend Mckaela had a dance competition in Las Vegas. So we decided to make it a girls trip with some of the other moms and make the most out of the weekend. (How could you go wrong with a girls trip for Mothers day?) So 8...YES I said 8 of us loaded up in one car and drove down Friday afternoon. It was actually a nice drive and the girls were having so much fun. I put together a little goody bag for each of them with treats and things to do so they wouldn't get bored. Once we got to Vegas we checked in (the girls had their own room which they thought was the best part) and decided to walk around, eat at the cheese cake factory, watch the water show at the Bellagio and do a little shopping.





On Saturday they had to be at the competition at 2pm so we only had a few hours to hang out. The girls really wanted to go to the m&m store, (because you can't go to Vegas without stopping here and spending a hundred bucks on 15 M&M'S:).



All the girls got one of these big cups and Mckaela downed it in like 5 min.
The girls took first place on both of their dances. They really did such a great job!

So Mckaela and I decided to stay a couple extra days and then flew home on Monday. We went shopping, saw the movie Prom, went swimming and just had a fun mother daughter weekend! (on one of the night when we went back to our hotel room their were flowers there from Ryan saying happy mothers day! So sweet and I loved them!)
