Halloween is near.

There has been a lot of fun activities around here for the kids to do that helps us get in the mood for Halloween. We went to a pumpkin patch and let the kids pick out their own pumpkins to paint (which of course I forget to take pictures of). Then last weekend we took the kids, my sister and mom came too, and we went to thanksgiving point for a day of fun and exhaustion! There was so much to do the kids did not know where to start, from pony rides to hay ride, bounce houses, face painting, games, a juggler, which Kolby got upon stage with him and help with part of the act lots of food! Needless to say we had a very fun day!

What we have been upto.....

Mckaela loves to wear this hat of mine so when her school was having a hat day she knew just which one she would wear. My little diva at six! Our little climber these days. She climbed up the tube to get into the sink.
and loves to find hiding places too. Brendan had a field trip to wheeler farm last week. They fed the ducks saw all kinds of animals and even got a good whiff of how a farm really smells. ( I thought I was going to be sick) but we had a great time! He really has loved preschool this year and miss Gina.

Here are a few more from his field trip. (the cow was also smiling for his picture) Also we did go to the state fair and I never posted pictures. The kids had a lot of fun!

no longer a blonde!

So I have been wanting to go back to my natural color for awhile but get a little nervous because with each kid it seems to get darker. But I finally took the plunge and I actually really like it. It's nice to have a change and since I am not ready to cut it yet, adding a new color will really give me a new look.

Before

After

Ryan has himself a new wife(I like to spice things up a little bit)

Karate 101

Brendan has started Karate and he is loving it. It is so good for him to have to OBEY the master. It was so cute the first time he got the outfit on and started pushing away. He is in a class with about eight other kids but he really is having fun with this. I do feel like I am running everywhere once the kids get out of school, going from dance to karate to piano to play dates, but I guess that is what we moms are suppose to do! At least they are having some fun!
So news about the house! We have decided to not head to Farmington. I can't tell you how HAPPY my mom and sister are, sorry Tamra! We have really been talking about the commute Ryan would have to be making everyday to work and in six months he will be moving the dealership further south which would then add even more time, he is away enough as it is so we new this would be the best thing for our family to not head the opposite direction of his work. We really are sad because we really LOVED this house. I know something else will work out but for now the looking starts all over.

Happy Birthday

I can't believe our Little girl is ONE! This last year has gone by so fast. Over labor day I was thinking how we had spent it last year, in the hospital. And now here she is celebrating her first birthday. We had family over and had a BBQ in the back yard, this is the first birthday party I can through and have it be out side. Mckaela and Brendan are both winter babies. We had a lot of fun sharing this day with her. For those of you who live in Cali, I have posted a lot of pictures so you feel like you were here. We miss you! The birthday girl.

Here are a few snap shots over this last year.

my girls are growing up.

Mckaela continues to grow up, are you kidding me FIRST grade! She now goes to school and is gone ALL day. She has recess with the big kids, carries her own tray for lunch and has homework to do at night. What happen to my little girl? The girls off to break all the boys hearts....
lining up for their big first day!
I thought Kindergarten was hard but now this...then it will Jr. high, High school, marriage. Will it ever slow down? She was so excited and really likes her teacher. This will be a fun year for my soon to be teenager!

The walker....it has begun. So I just have to let my oldest off to school all day and then this...the little one think she can just take off too.

House for sale....WHAT?
Yes it is true we have decided to finally make the next move. We have found an area that we would like to build (my house with a big front porch). We have been looking for some time and just nothing has grabbed our attention, well that's because we were going the wrong direction. We might be living in Farmington. It is the opposite way we thought we would ever end up but we just have really fell in love with this area! So now the wait begins of selling our home. This is going to be a hard move for us. We really love our neighbors, ward and most of our family is so close by but we just feel this is right for us right now! So for those of you who have built your home, any words of advise?
